Snowy mountains

Winter vacation, it was my husband’s wish ever since we met.

I wanted to surprise him for his birthday and I spontaneously decided to take him on

a winter vacation in Austria. Very little I knew about good skiing destinations

because I am not a huge fan of skiing, actually I’m not a fan at all, but I was determined

about the location and all that we’re going to do there – in Austria!

I well planned our trip in order to get the most out of seven days vacation which included

visit to Vienna and mountaineering and skiing in Schladming-Dachstein region, both

equally wonderful destinations and worth visiting longer.

We stayed in Grobming, charming little town only few minutes by car from the best ski

slopes in the region, surrounded with breathtaking mountains and stunning nature.

Over there, at the top of those mountains, we’ve had a few absolutely epic snow days!

Half of the family has enjoyed skiing, the other half has been spending days riding cable

cars, building snowmen, chasing snowflakes, hiking, snow ball fighting and taking

photographs. We soaked it all up, we made it unforgettable and we promised to go back.

My dear family, this awesome adventure with you was the absolute highlight of my life.

xx love you lots
